Finally this blog will be put to good use when I leave for the cruise ship at the end of January. Pictures will be shared! Secret thoughts will be divulged!
It’s getting pretty crazy at the homestead trying to get ready to leave AND decide what the hell we’re going to do. Time is running out as I’m about to embark on a 21 day gig marathon in December! We made up our minds to move back to Indianapolis to be closer to my family, stop paying ridiculous amounts of $$ to live here, and avoid high blood pressure due to the traffic endured from gig to gig- but now we’re re-thinking it, maybe stay here another year. There is work in Indy, but not as much as Chicago…and we are both building up nice little careers here…but our homelife sucks! Is it just me, or is there a feeling that you always have to be doing something or planning something ALL the time. I feel guilt when I have a day off, end up getting depressed, and just watch episodes of Family guy and Modern Family on Hulu. Maybe it’s me. Either way, things that need to be done soon:
-find a place for our cats to live for 3 months.
-do our taxes early. ugh.
-secure the people that are planning to move in when we move out.
-tell our landlord
-get physicals
Things that need to be done asap:
-stop watching episodes of Modern Family on Hulu.
-do some freakin laundry
-pick out some neutral “holiday” tunes for the gig marathon.
-go to the store and get stuff for a healthy breakfast. Fuck it, I’m making biscuits and gravy.
